    Looks like I could be working around San Antonio for a few months. Might anybody know of a range where you can practice out to 50-60 yds?

    I don't think they have a range quite that far out but it might be up to 35 or 40 yards. Look up Vicking archery out by canyon lake. They have a 20 yard indoor and then the 3D outdoor. I believe its $5/hr for the range. And there is usually a group a guys there if you want to BS about archery. They can also get you info on local 3D shoots that are convenient to SA.
