okie draw hunts!

Well the draw was today did you guys have any luck? I got mcalester and a spring turkey hunt in mccurtain county

My husband got drawn for a Cimmaron county antelope hunt. We are super excited.

 

My buddy drew the speed goat in cimmaron also. We will be headed out to scout this coming weekend. Probably going to have to find a farmer an pay the fee to hunt.

My dates are oct. 17-19 in hominy. My buddies and I put in as a group and we are super excited. Im going to pick up a recurve tomorrow. I have a long draw so its been a little difficult.

Have you been before? I need all the tips I can get!

 

Never been before. I'll be there Oct. 24-26 in Hominy. We have talked to some guys that have been before and they say it's awesome. Lots of wildlife. We are going to look at recurves this weekend. I've been shooting one we borrowed from a friend.

 

I bought a sammick sage recurve from arrowhead archery in del city. It was 150. It shoots great now if I would just do my part.

 

I ordered a PSE Coyote, should be in tomorrow.

 

Wow, if my shooting doesn't improve, I'll be better off throwing the arrow at them

 

Im in the same boat! I'm going to get a lesson at my archery shop tomorrow. hopefully that helps.

 

I think I've figured out what I've been doing wrong. More practice tonight, weather permitting.

 

how is your recurve experience going? I am getting better. It definitely wasn't looking good for a while.

 

Frustrating! hahaha I'm hitting the target more but not very consistent shooting. How was your lesson at the archery shop? I got chewed up by mosquitos practicing last night.

 

It went well they adjusted my grip and anchor point. They also changed the string to a flemish string which seemed to help. my original string was giving out already
