Between yesterday morning and evening I seen 8 bucks. 6 were within 15 yards. One was well over 170 inches. Sucks not being able to shoot those!

I was at my control hunt I drew for. It was at Sequoyah NWR. Antler less only. Maybe one day they will make it like the Ammo Dep and have a trad hunt for buck or doe.

Just seen that in the first month there has been 21,000 deer checked in for OK. I dont know about years past but that sounds like pretty good harvest numbers.

21,990... Too bad the ODWc doesn't give more running data than just the totals. How many are archery harvested? I guess running totals by county is way too much to expect. That does seem like good numbers but without knowing historic running totals or having a database to query yourself there is nothing to compare it to. At least the historical totals are available.

I was more impressed that there have been 40 elk killed! That's awesome! I wonder how many if those were public v private?

That's a great running tally. Wish it was searchable or had some breakdown by county.
