    Toledo Bend lake checking in, one doe this season, it has been a very poor season for deer seen only two deer all season, just to much hunting pressure on the lil bitty wma I hunt. Hasn't been uncommon to see 30 trucks a morning hunting 7500 acres of pine plantation owned by timber companys.

    Been so busy with work and life I haven't even bought a license. Usually make a few trips to NW Louisiana WMAs when the rut starts. Anyone got any news on deer numbers at Bayou Macon or Bayou Cocodrie?

    Had an opportunity for a lease near Lake Bistineau. Moved and had to pass it up at $150 a year in 1988. Truly a Sportsman's Paradise!
