Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew of any public lands or hunt clubs in Va that you can join or work something out with the land owners to hunt on there land or help in exchange for hunting on properties? I have a place to hunt just looking for other places to hunt and a place to grow on and be able to enjoy the land also. Thanks

I live in Va beach but I would travel almost anywhere in the state. I have hunted in Front royal about 12 miles from the west Va border. But am looking for better chances at a buck and a different place to hunt.

There is a hunt club around Charlottesville area (2.5 hours ish) that you might want to look into. I think they have a thread in the regional here...like 10-15 threads down. Also look at craigslist as they list there sometimes

Where on craigslist would you look for hunting land privileges. Still trying to find properties or land to hunt on. Any suggestions would be great. I have a couple in Amelia county that I would have to pay annual dues and in Brunswick also but there is too expensive.

There are some clubs but depends on what you are willing to spend.

Some good national forest land in Amherst and Nelson Co. That is just south of I64 off U.S. 29. Our club if full this year but you could check with us next year. $250 a year, 10 members on 400 acres.
