I'm headed out in the morning. Have a few nice birds targeted. The birds have not been as willing to come into my set up so tomorrow I will be busting out my strutting jake and hen.

Seems like May 1st is taking for ever to get here. Any luck yet? I had a gobbler in my yard yesterday hopefully I can pattern him but I've got a couple honey holes ready to go. Ready to get out there for sure though!

Well guys my season is over down here in florida. Had a strange one. Couldn't get a Tom within bow range for some reason. Went out on Sunday for the last day of the season. It came down to running and gunning with the 12 gauge. Got a nice 20.5lbs Tom. Sat all morning with the bow in hand and nothing. Sorry guys!

Well I couldn't get them within range this morning, lots of noise though, they were gobbling up a storm I just couldn't pull em in. Tomorrow should be better I have a solid game plan, on a lighter note my uncle was shotgun hunting 500 yards away a put the smack down on a nice Tom 9inch beard, 1 inch spurs and about 24lbs. Good luck! We gotta get on the board!

    Awesome,

Its been a tough season here in NY the temps were in the 70-80s all the first week and now they are back into the 20's and 30's we got snow last night! ive seen tons of birds but just cant seem to seal the deal just yet. ive been panning through some big woods for open prairies and I think ive got a no fail spot all picked out, ive seen some tracks in there and ive dubbed the target bird "T-Rex" hoping he makes a mistake and the stars align just right... if he does my Black Eagle Carnivores will be eating well!
