    Honestly....I would pass and hoped my Dad would get him. He is 87 and I would get a much bigger thrill dragging it out for him. I have been fortunate to shoot bigger already.

    You, being from NC know those arent around every other tree. Im shooting. The Western region is improving however so pending on what part of the state you hunt and whats already hanging on your wall.

    It doesn't look like the right side is broken off, it seems like a big crab claw on that side and my guess is he will be an 8 pt w/ a small g3 or maybe even a 7pt again next year, just bigger. But who knows, never know what he could grow for next year. That ones up to you if you wanna find out or not. If he walked by me, he'd be going down though that's for sure!
