range set-up question

I have my range currently dialed in at 20, 30, 40 and 51.5 yards. It is on an uphill slant. Will that create any problem with zeroing my bow for bowhunting season?

I made a couple of assumptions to come up with my answer.

1. Your arrow rest is 3 ft from the ground and I did not change that from 20 to 51.5 yards even though the incline likely changes that distance.
2. Your uphill incline is not steep.

If you are familiar with trig you can use the pythagorean theorem to figure out how far the arrow actually flies to hit the target. I won't go into all the detail but you are shooting about 1 to 2 tenths of a yard short when going back to a level range. In other words, mere inches.

If you were to use a standard blue face target and can X every shot at the given yardage on YOUR range, you should still be in the white bullseye on level ground.

Based on this, you would be shooting a tad bit low on level ground.

I probably should not have said "how far the arrow actually flies". I guess line of sight would have been a better term.

After walking my property the last week, and borrowing my buddy's range finder again, I have a new, more level location for my range. Here's before:.

Here's after I made my backstop (mostly because I was losing arrows):

And here's looking at the target after this morning:

And here's looking from my 40 yard marker:

I plan on taking it to 50 or 60 yards, but I have to move some dirt to level out a spot to shoot from. I think making the new range has helped out. Here is after shooting two at 10, two at 20 yards and two at 30..

And it's now ranged to 60 yards. I don't have any pictures yet because it's really windy and I have some dirt work to do before it's done.
