I agree now, all Coyote....was thinking the first two pics were at a different spot, just day/night....just looked at the other thread.

I think I would hang a stand about 20 yards east of this spot?

Nice post! That really puts it in perspective. Thanks for your help and eveyone elses! I am glad that we dont have any wolves....yet. Our deer population has taken a hit this year and I think it has to do with the coyotes and the bobcat. We also have a big black bear too.

I have never seen a yote much less a wolf. I have seen lots of bears the last ten or so years.

Really big and healthy Yotes. I live in northeast Ohio and my boss snares around 50-60 Yotes a year and he is 6 foot 3 inches tall and have son hang longer than him. He claims we have red wolf strain inbred with our Yotes.

They say that about the coyotes here in East Central NY. I don't doubt it. I've seen some really big yotes and they were really red.

All coyotes with a nice fluffy winter coat, they look big but they have tiny mouths (compared to my Pit) and are pretty lightweight.

a few years ago the neighbors german shepherd tore a coyote into 3 pieces, it was pretty gross.

I'd say they're all yotes. That first picture had me studying it for some time but I say its a coyote.
