Does anyone use these and are they any better than something like Blazer vanes?

I will be making the switch to FOB's for next season. I have talked to a few guys on this site about them, and they swear by them.

Will never make the switch. Heard way to many stories of nicking branches and them falling off mid flight. And they get destroyed target shooting way more often then vanes.

I don't remember seeing a single shooter at the GTG last weekend shooting FOBs. I know that is a small sampling of the archery population, but just saying....

I can see hitting branches being an issue for most hunters. I hunt from mostly ground blind with unobscured line of sight so that will not be an issue for me. as far as the target shooting yes they will get nicked up and damaged but they come in a 12 pack and they have to sustain a lot of damage to not fly correctly.

I`ve heard the same the same thing yall have. If you shoot through an animal or even a target, the thing will go flying off.
