Late last night I loaded up all my gear in my SUV in the exception of my bow for a early morning departure. I got up at 4 AM to head out only to turn around and go back to bed because of the weather. Around noon I get a knock at my door by my neighbor. He asked me what happen to my SUV. I go out side and find this.....

Thieving little *******. I know it has to know I hunt and drive by my house regularly. I have a good idea of the group of "kids" that did it but can't prove it.....

I never keep any guns / bows in the truck. am just sick.... I can't even comprehend what the replacement cost will be. Nor am I certain if my insurance is going to cover the stolen contents....

So one of my neighbors said the glass was already on the ground when she took her dog outside at 12:45 AM. I loaded the truck between 10:30 and 11 PM . That means it was a "smash & grab" type of deal. It just so happens to coincide with high school prom.... I really don't live on a high traffic street.

Be looking for some really nice video and camera gear on eBay.. %^*+=?!'. RAGE!!!!

She said she didn't have any shoes on so she didn't walk down to take a closer look. She said the drive way looked like someone had dropped a pound of glitter on it. She didn't put 2 and 2 together until this morning. She also recalled her dog acting really weird around 11:45PM.

I'm out $2K out of the gate. $500 deductible on the vehicle and $1500 deductible on the contents covered under home owners.

People aren't concerned until it's their gear being pilfered. Had a couple of kids break into my SUV in Wal-Mart parking lot last December stole four Graphic Audio Disc....Little Sonav*****es must have had got the shock of their lives to find out the disc's were audio books not video games.

Keep in mind thieves always return to the scene of the crime, be prepared, be vigilant.

And the list.... Just makes me ill!

    Big ticket items anyway....

Canon VIXIA HF S100 & Accessories
    Canon EOS 40D + 2 Lens & Accessories 1 lens was cost more than the 40D body…
    Vortex Viper HD Binos
    Bushnell Rifle Hunter Range Finder
    Manfrotto 501HDV Head & Tripod
    Delorme Earthmate PN-60w GPS

But they left my cooler, my blind, and the decoys…… That was super nice of them… sarcasm…..

I made several calls to parents of high school kids that live in my neighborhood. I put up a $500 cash reward for any information that leads to the return of my stuff or restitution.

I won't waste my time calling the pawn shops. I tried that once before and I know how that works out.... They won't talk to anyone other then than the cops.....
