I have $140 to buy a set of sights. I shot recreational 3D and deer hunt in southern MO.
With that what would you buy?

Just got a TroGlo Micro Brite 5 Pin. For a micro adjust sight, this one is rock solid, and no tools needed. I was looking at the TruBall Excel sights, they're OK but not worth the $200 price tag.
I disagree! The Armortech sights by TRU Ball are built like a tank. Tough and fully enclosed fibers. Well worth the money in my opinion. I'd recommend the sight to anyone.

I also just got this micro brite 5 pin. The pros are the price $99., its tool less and micro adjust, and nice 5 pin sight ( I got mine in DDP). the cons are all pins are the same color and there is no micro just on the pins only elevation and windage.. I think its great value for the money.
Viper Predator MicroTune.......hands down.

If I were in your shoes (and I will be soon) I would go with a HHA single pin slider. I really want a CBE but not practical for hunting or in the price range. I have a 6 pin that is just way too much in the sight window now that I have shot a single pin.
A hunter is not a man who kills animals but, a man who holds immense knowledge, loves, respects and takes great steps in the preservation of the creatures he harvests. He is loyal, grateful, responsible and ethical in every aspect of his chase. He is who I strive every day to be.

HHA would be my choice for that price range.
For a couple bucks more, go with a Spot Hogg. Tough as nails and all of the adjustment you'll ever need. I've been using the same Hunter Hogg-it on three bows now and it looks and works like the day I took it out of the box. When I decide to trade up again to a new bow, this site will go on it as well.
