I was new to archery for the 2011 season, thus, I had a starter bow. A nice pse bowmadness XS, I was blessed enough to harvest 2 does and a 153" ten point with it. My wife informed me before the season that if I put meat in the freezer she would buy me a Mathews. So, for Christmas this year, under my tree was a new Z7 Extreme, Axion GLZ stabilizer, and a Mathews T3 arrow web quiver :-) Since christmas I have added an Axion GLX sight, QAD Ultrarest HDX rest, G5 peep, ridge runner custom wrist sling, custom painted and fletched easton FMJ 300 spine 12 g.p.i. arrows with Deep Six inserts tipped with D6 spitfires (these were painted and fletched by Brad Weidman at passthru custom arrows). I shot through the chronograph last week at diamond archery technologies in Wichita, KS and at 30" draw pulling 70 lbs this bow is slinging 262 f.p.s. I had the arrows weighed and they are 532 grains a piece giving me slightly over 80 ft lbs of K.E. I cant wait to blow through some Kansas Venison in 2012! I forgot to mention that the penetration on these arrows with this Z7X is incredible to me, I used to shoot easton Epic 340 spines, and these FMJ's are penetrating at least 5-7 inches further into the same target. Enjoy the Bow Porn fellas.
