He is a new day walker. I hope he makes it through rifle season! He might just blow up next year. At the same time I might have a real hard time passing the way my season is going if he walks in front of me on an off day. lol!

Anyone want to take a guess what is gong on above his eye? Is that dried blood? His rack also look really red at the base on his left side.

Great looking buck! Maybe a little sparing damage there by the eye is my guess. Definitely a shooter!

I'd guess in the 140's. Heck of a buck. How do you like the Exodus cams?

Its been great so far! I'd say its on par or better then most of the higher end cameras out there from a pic quality perspective. I was tired of throwing trail cams away in as little as two years. Their warranty is the BEST on the market!

Man he's nice, you got some bruisers running around there.
I saw a better one this evening across a field right under one of my ladder stands. Plan on hunting that stand tomorrow.

I think the biggest surprise on my new land this year is the buck to doe ratio. Unlike anything I have seen on any other property I hunt. I'd say 50/50. Granted most of the bucks are little guys. I have only seen a handful of deer that where in the 3-5 old range.

That's pretty cool but may not be a good actual cross section of the properties "normal" standing. Numbers can get pretty jumbled up this time of year. I'd wager that those numbers of mature bucks is kind of typical away from very large acreages that are managed. Even here, once I get out away from the ranch, I see similar small numbers of mature bucks. Between the neighbors and the road hunters, not many make it past 3 unless they have a decent refuge.

Glad to hear that! I missed out on their pre-order sale when they first came out. Like you I'm getting tired of sending cams in for replacements that will eventually quit working. The same old merry go round.

I hear ya! I am tired of trail cams not lasting two full season and companies not standing behind their products. You should like their Facebook page. They have been doing x-mas specials. Last one I believe was 2 cameras for 350.

Nice buck and pictures! I just might pick a couple of these cams up. Since I started using Reconx about 7 years ago I haven't had anything more then a passing interest in any other brand of cams,. the few other brands I bought ended up in the junk pile or I got rid of them and stayed with the Reconx.
    These interest me....

Floyd continues to make day time appearances. He could be in trouble! Hung a stand in a huge cedar today. I brushed it in with what I cut out.
