Took me three years just because of inexperience and the land i hunted didnt produce anything. Got this on public land. Thanks everyone!

I was hunting at kingsbury the public land. It was a rainy windy day didnt think anything was going to come out. I set up off a game trail that was pretty beaten down, it was right by a safe zone area. It was about a half hour before dark and i rattled and grunted a little bit and here he comes 10 minutes later down the trail. I thought it was just a small 6 pointer because it was getting dark so i shot him my shot was off and hit his liver. I saw him fall down about 20 yards away and just lay there so i got off the tree about 20 minutes later to meet with my buddy and we went back in to look for him and he wasnt there. So we followed the blood trail for awhile and he went and died right next to the stand my buddy was hunting in.
Congrats on your first buck! That is a nice one. I was showing my son, who should be in bed, the buck you spot. In your second pic, he asked if Ironman shot that deer. The bright spot on the middle of your chest.
