I'm looking for some opinions here as to what the best target deer is for the money.

The first target bought was a Rhinehart Woodland Buck about 6 years ago. That target has been put through the ringer, I have replaced the core once...looks like hell but it I still shoot it. I also bought a Glendel Buck last year and I had high hopes for it...well, let's just say that I'm extremely disappointed in it. The insert already needs to be replaced and I'm reticent to replace it since the whole target is falling apart.

What do you have and has it held up for you?

Same experience with the Glendal. Lasted about a year and started to fall apart in the second.

Bought a Rinehart woodland this year and have been impressed. Expect it to hold up for a while.

Look up Morrell's new bionic buck. It won't be as "pretty" as some of the others, but I guarantee you it'll outlast anything else on the market.

I know the bigbox stores will have a lot of rhem on sale this week, might be a good time ti pick one up. It doesn't matter on brand to me aslong as it can take a shot.

If you get a Glendale take ducktape and wrap it around the legs and body. Those are the weak points.

I have both the rinehart woodland buck and the broadhead buck. Both are very good...but would just spring for the broadhead buck doing it again

I guarantee I will not buy a Glendel Buck again...and WW1, yep, already broke out the duct tape on it to keep it together. My old Rinehart has duct tape on it too but its 6 years old, I don't have a problem with that. It's still in better structural shape than the GDB.

The other thing hat annoyed me about e GDB, yes it has 4 sides but I as still having arrows pass through after rotating it. Never again.

I haven't priced the new ones, only know they came back out with it. I had the original Bionic Buck, and I bet it lasted me 6-7 years of continuous shooting... thousands upon thousands of shots. It was WELL worth the money I paid for it, and it was probably the most expensive back then.

It also gives you two-finger arrow removal most of the time... just like shooting a bag target.

    Rinehart 18-1 is the best!

Just bought the Rinehart Booner Buck on sale for $168 w/ free shipping for me and my boys. I have the 18-1 which is a great target as well.
