After this season I am in the market for a whole new set up. Bow, rest, sight, stabilizer etc. But the question that I have is about rests. I have used a trophy taker drop away for years now and have fell out of the loop about what new and improved rests are out there. What is everyone using and why? Would like to hear positives and negatives all input is good input.

Trophy Taker smack down pro. I am using this because the first limb driven drop away I bought was one by Tru glo, only worked for a couple of months before something broke inside and it wouldn't drop arm rest any more. Brought it back to the shop I bought it from and they recommended the Smackdown pro. With its lifetime warranty, figured why not give it a shot. I have been extremely happy with this rest.

Lots of good ones out there and you'll get plenty of responses on what is best.

Honestly, I believe the Limbdriver rests, particularly the the Pro V model, is the best out there. Limb driven rests are arguably the most accurate of the drop aways and in my opinion, the easiest to setup and tune.

I've been using the Pro V for the last two years. All metal, rugged design. Full containment and can be setup and ready to shoot in less than 10 minutes. I just like that I do not have tie into cables and such.

I was once in the market for a new rest and with so many options and opinons I didn't know were to begin. I liked the qad hdx and trophy ridge rest but in the end I got the nap nighthawk and live it. I would go with what you like and also consider were you are going to hunt I.e tree stand, spot stalk ,western style hunts. P.s I am no expert just stating my opinion.

I shoot one of the NAP drop aways. No problems with it, works for me.

Trophy Taker Smackdown has been a very reliable rest for me. Doesn't move once set up. Very easy to get set up.
I've now got 3 bows with a Smackdown on them. Oldest one is going on its fifth season.
No expert here just what's been working for me

I am a big fan of the QAD rests (other than the Hunter model). I have been using the HDX model on my bows since about 2012 I think. I love them. Easy to tune, full containment, great service. The downside is some complain theirs are loud but mine have never been loud or clicked like some folks say. If it is the deer never seemed to notice lol.

Trophy taker smack down pro. Easiest to tune, quietest, and I like the limb driven system. I've used all of the qad models and have stuck to this

Limbdriver Pro-V. Set-up was less than ten minutes. Two shots through the paper and I was paper tuned. Now time to work some arrows and broadheads.

the two top sellers seem to be QAD HDX and Vaportrail Pro V LD. I have had both now and both seem to work well.
