I thought this camera was gone. I put it out two months ago and could not remember where I put it. I pulled up to the property today and it hit me; I walked straight to it and had a few surprises waiting for me. Excuse the time and date.

Glad you found that cam, that would have bothered me big time! Is that a piebald deer that's running away in that one pic? I see what looks like a big white patch on it's side. Oh, that date's off by 2 years...

I was wondering the same thing about the doe that was running away. As much as I wish it was, I'm sure that it's just the sun reflecting.

That's awesome! I'd be freaking out if it was me and I couldn't remember where my cam was. It's kind of like finding money in your old jackets. :tu:

My dad went to our OH lease 3 days before me and started scouting/ setting cams... We left with one less cam than he got there with. He swears he didn't forget where he put one... Yeah sure!

Mark them with a GPS and that should eliminate misplacing them

Couple seasons ago I found a great spot I wasn't hunting, put up a ladder stand and then noticed there was a ladder stand 25yds away I forgot was there. The ladder bottom was a few inches off the ground from the tree growing. Best guess is it was there not hunted for 5 seasons...I have too many stands....

I have a buddy at work that forgets all the time where he puts his. Just baffles me... I run between 15-20 cams never forgot one. Seems crazy to me. You people who forget where you put them how many are you running? Glad you found it.

How many acres are you running that many cameras on? I run 5 on 160 acres, typically have them on my food plots, or main trails entering crop fields. But I'm growing more addicted to them... I have around 16 ladder stands on the property and a couple Lone Wolfs to be portable. I have a swamp 40 I don't go into from January until Halloween to keep pressure down. Shot my buck on Halloween evening the last 2 seasons from the same stand, not huge bruisers but I'm working my way up the standards ladder.

About 1000 acres total. Probaly half crop land though. During prime time I usually have 20 cams out. Right now I have 15 out.

That's alot of land! I can see the need for that many cams. I wouldn't know what to do there, I have a hard time figuring out which set to sit on 160..... I'm one of the only properties on the block with crop and the only one that does food plots so I have tons of deer coming through my place. The amount of tracks in the snow today was mind boggling... Trails every where, deer digging to get to the turnips and radishes. What brand cameras do you all run, favorites?
