I use the 312 hearing aid batteries in my bow sight light. They never last long! Any suggestions? Thanks!

What type of sight are you using?

Ok I know this does not help you but I have used Montana Black Gold and HHA sights without a light and they stay lit past legal shooting hours. You could also try a larger pin to get more light and then not worry about the batteries.

I use a trophy ridge with light at night hunting foxes/predators. I've had the same set of batteries for 3 years now. I only turn it on when on stand. Switch is a little flakey on the light....might check yours to make sure it isnt slowly bleeding the batteries.

Don't use them unless you need to. The batteries on mine have been good for two years now but I rarely practice in the dark and only use it in the woods when I know I will need it, like when a deer is walking toward me. They do come in pretty handy though, just killed this one a day before Thanksgiving and if it weren't for my sight light it wouldn't have happened.
