2 poachers kill at least 10 deer in Clark County, IL.

    I'll post a link if I can find one. Two young men......ages 19 and 18 shot and killed 10 deer along field edges/roadways using a rifle. All dead deer were left to rot. Seems it was done just for the fun of it! They are now facing 10 charges each. A tip from a caller led to their arrests. I wish everyone would use the TIP phone line.

    That's pitiful. No respect for the animals or the law. I hope they stick it to them.

    I hate to hear stories like this. From a landowner/deer manager perspective it's something I always worry about in rural kansas. Very little law presence, lots of big deer, and no shortage of yay-hoos willing to wreck what other people work hard to grow, maintain, and eventually hunt. I wish there was a more painful penalty to deter others from this type of activity...
