Hey guys, got the G30 today, Put it in my yard to see how it works, deer came to the corn pile just now, went and got the card, no pics on it? Tried a factory 1 setting, 3 picture burst, I walked past to try to trigger it, Nothing on the card still?? Batteries are at 37% So plenty for right now, What is going on?? Is it too close to the pile? It's about 5 feet away. Any help would be appreciated!!

Could be bad card. Try formatting it.

What Gb would you prefer? It's a 32Gb brand new from amazon, I'll put a 1Gb card in there and walk past see if it triggers.

Still won't take pics, tried a 1gb card, nothing, even tried the usb port, nothing? This is so frustrating, New camera, and already having issues? Any advice?

Only thing I can think of is a fresh set of batteries. Otherwise, it's new, so call the company and get it taken care of right away. I've got 4 G42s and absolutely love them and know a lot of guys on here that love the G30s. Probably just got a bad apple but I definitely wouldn't go away from the Stealth Cams because of the one bad experience.

It's the batteries. My Stealth's and Browning's usually quit taking pics around that percentage.

Yep - Put fresh batteries in it and let us know what happens.

Most cameras I'm finding will get a bit quirky when running on alkaline batteries below 50%. If you throw a set of Energizer Lithium's in it the problems go away........

My G42's run until the batts are dead but I'd sure try new batteries before I panicked.
I finally had my first problem with one of mine, it just eats batteries, like a set in a week with no pics. I'm guessing maybe the LED's are staying on.
