Not sure where to post this so here it is. Took my 7 yr old hunting for the first time this last weekend. Bless her heart she did so good despite not seeing a thing for 3 hrs. She had her snacks and we played "I spy". Well i took her sour patch gummies and put them in my pocket cause the package was just too loud. You already know where this is going. So i decide to do a huge load of camo laundry as most of my suits needing it. Threw two scent lok suits in dryer with washed load on High for a long time High heat... EVERYTHING covered in sour patch watermelon gummies... HAHAHA all i can do is laugh but does anyone know some good tricks to get stuff like that out? Idk what to do.
I did the same thing with a roll of Halls cough drops a couple years ago. I ended up just throwing the stuff in the washer a half dozen times and everything is good now.
I'm not laughing at you...I'm laughing with you. Gummies are just gelatin and sugar, right? Maybe just wash a couple times with hot water and lots of detergent. Pre-soak might help too. I like the All unscented.
I've always had good luck using OxiClean to get stuff out. Never used it on sour patch kids before, but I think it's worth a try and might cut down on the number of times you have to wash it.
Haven't done that, but I washed my stick of Evercalm with my hunting clothes last week. Can imagine that hurt anything other than destroying a $20 stick of Evercalm.
Thanks for the replies. Ill just have to work with it. At least watermelon scent is better than stinky man scent
Just to add try using a hair dryer to warm it up. May come off easier Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2
No idea if it will work but i have thrown a can of coke in the washer to help get grease stains out. Have to wash it a second time just to get everything but it worked for that. Good luck either way. That sucks
I would bring the whole load to a laundry mat, they have the big industrial washers , run it thru a few times with the above suggested detergents and you should be good.
