How many have shot the Victory VAP arrows and have feedback they like to share? I've never shot them or have known anybody that has. I like the concept of the outsert weight options and the spec tolerance's are tight.
    Thanks all!

I shot them when they first came out and they were pretty good but now I'm a huge gold tip fan. They're super tough and very consistent.

I've been shooting VAP's for about 4 months now, I like them a lot. Great penetration and I've had nothing but good groupings with them. I did have 2 outserts come out but I recovered them and re-glued them in with blu glu and haven't had any issues.

Started shooting them in May and have been very pleased. Only thing I have shot so far was a 400+ bear and they did great. Grouping with them is just as I would want

What inserts are you guys shooting? I have been looking at the 92 grain stainless insert. Any input on those inserts? Also, do you guys use a footer with the VAP's? If so, what are you using as a footer? Thanks.

I'm using the standard 50 grain outsert with no footer. I've been kicking the idea around of getting the 92 grain inserts and using vpa footers but the current set up I use is really powerful and penetrates deep.
I just shot a deer earlier this week and I thought I completely missed because my arrows buried into a tree behind the deer. After watching him walk a few feet and fall over dead I figured it must have penetrated right through. Took out 2 ribs heart and lungs and still passed through and buried 4 inches into a tree.

I have been using VAPs for a while now. They work well in my opinion, do they work better then other smaller diameter arrows? Probably not. I use Easton D6 inserts in mine. Works pretty well!

Doesn't the outsert overlap the shaft acting as a footer? Does Victory make a footer? I cant find ant if so

My outsert didn't overlap, they flushed up to the cut on the arrow. I looked and didn't find any victory footers I'll ask the guy at the pro shop next week about the footers.

Check out this video from ATA show. Looks like the new outserts overlap the shaft. Not by much tho!

Huh I guess when I was putting them together I didn't even notice I just added the blu glu and pushed in firmly. I see why my girlfriend says I don't pay enough attention now. Haha

The new aluminum outserts do go over the shaft. The stainless do not.
