Drop Aways loud. I have had Phantom, QAD, Octane, and now Vaportrail Limbdriver pro v. I have been back and forth with vaportrail today and just can't seem to get it quiet. The activation cord s not too tight, i have the new model with the upgrades. I tried rubber on the rod trick, string silencer, and it never sounds different. I tried to upload a video but it would happen.
I went around this for a few years. QAD imo is terribly loud. Louder than 4" feathers going through my BW by far. Ripcord just loud. NAP Apache Carbon is very quiet. On 3 of my bows, one will always have a WB.
Can't manually trigger a Limbdriver. I've had great luck with my LD's. Never really heard a loud one. Hope you get it figured out. The guys at Vaportrail will take care of you. SCFox
QAD here, limbsaver pad for drop away rests w/ an extra layer of stick on fleece on top has toned it down some http://www.ebay.com/itm/Limbsaver-F...hash=item51a6d7c9d7:m:m-u4BMiqXH112TpZise6_hQ
I always thought my Ripcord was loud. I have a Trophy Taker Xtreme FC now and I don't hear it at all. I love that rest.
I have shot most of them and find that most of them have some noise. I find the Trophy Taker Smack Down FC is the quietest for me and I really like the rest.
Limbdriver micro elite is very quiet on my bow. Smackdown pro is by far the quietest Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have the Pro V as well, but have never considered it to be loud. Make sure the activation cord isn't hitting on anything when fired.
