I was out bowhunting for a doe the other afternoon and had 1 yote with the white tip tail come by and a few hours later he came back with 3 other coyote and there was 2 Strawberry Blonde and 1 mustard brown yellow with him , they came in on me to 20.5 yards unfortuneatly it was to dark that the footage isnt very good. So a couple of days later I was bowhunting for a doe and see these same coyotes coming to me . Were not allowed to shoot coyotes on the property I was bowhunting :(
Now I didnt have the camera arm setup so I just filmed them freehand. I was amazed to see the strawberry blonde coloration on the lead yote, the second yote has a regular coloration but a white tip tail and the 3rd yote looked like a brown mustard yellowish coloration with a black tip tail.
I wish so bad that I could have taken that Stawberry Blonde one ... I saw the SB pelts retailing at $150.00.
In all I just had an amazing time filming them.

Thought I would add the footage I filmed on Oct 2 2015 in the same general area as the yotes of a snow white possum, Not An Albino ... it has black eyes and black tipped ears, but the fur as white as snow

No allowed to shoot yotes??? What the heck is that most landowners would rather you shoot a yote than a deer unless the land owner hates deer that much bc of crop damage that they think thw yotes will kill deer so they want them around that's just nuts

Pretty cool footage, but wish they would change their policies a little bit.

Skittish little bastages for having little predatorial threats

First coyote I ever killed was a blonde, still wish to this day I had done a full body mount with it.

Not sure the reasoning behind it, but pretty sure this is a specially regulated public land unit. I know Christine has mentioned before they were not allowed to kill them, even one she walked up on that was severely emaciated with mange. Would have been more of a mercy kill than anything.

It would be a hard pass for me, but with the quality of deer they take each year something is being done right.

Nice footage. I had 3 yotes trailing a doe fawn last week. I wanted to take the shot, but they stayed just out of my range.

$300.00 WOW, if I didnt want to risk losing such a great place to bow hunt I would have shot it for that kinda money ! Plus they were on the neighbors side of the fence ... it would have been technically poaching :(

This is University Of Illinois Owned Park, we are only allowed to kill deer everything else is off limits ( except if a wild hog shows up )
That mangey coyote is the one I walked up on and then called Christine to come see, we then had the park natural areas director come to the site but they wouldnt let me put it out of its misery. I returned to the site where we left it and it died where I had left it. October 2011 008.jpg October 2011 009.jpg

One of the 9,472 coyotes that used to visit me while I was hunting that place was a reddish one. In Fucoyote of course. That was 2012. They year where I saw way more coyotes within 20 yards than deer. Just seeing videos of them ticks me off. LOL! You know, in the two years I've hunted out here, I've seen only two yotes.* That's kind of amazing. Almost as if there's a $50.00 bounty on them. :D

Your still pics of the video are awesome quality even if the subject matter is annoying. Hah! I think I might have gotten footage of the red one in fudog but I never bothered to transfer over the tapes to digital. I'm lame.

*I've seen more than two yotes total... but just the two while deer/elk/pronghorn/turkey hunting
