I remember reading an article a few years ago that Muslims would soon outnumber the French in France. I can't say I'm surprised about this attack, but it truly is sad and disgusting. In Germany they still arrest and jail those who spread Nazi hate speech or deny the Holocaust, I'd love to see a country have the balls to stand up and outlaw Islam. How anyone could sympathize with them is beyond me.
Completely defenseless people with no means to defend themselves. It may have not averted the attack, but armed citizens may have saved lives.
Wonder if the president will call it an act of terrorism? Guess that whole help the refugee thing is out the window and who's fault is that?
...and he always says stupid stuff like "shootings don't happen in other countries...". This act of terrorism puts isolated shootings to shame.

So you'd like to see a country ban a whole religion just because a group with in that religion are animals? By that logic countries should be able to ban the people that belong to a certain religion that favors bombing abortion clinics.

I'm not saying there isn't an issue that needs to be dealt with... I'm just tired of the responses of bomb them to smithereens and send a message. That's their MO, not ours. We are better than that.
I never said bombs, you did. My real point is they think America is protecting Israel from them but in reality we are protecting them from Israel. Israel been telling us about how radical these people are and we keep thinking we can negotiate with them and here we are again. Just look how 10+ years of negotiating worked keeping Nukes out of Iran. Our own president even signed off on the final chapter of their plan so you better start thinking up some asinine ideas of your own cause this isn't going away and it's coming to a town near you soon.
It works though and is all they're gonna understand. The problem we have is over the last 8 years how many threats have been made by our Potus for other countries to stop doin something and no consequence has happened if they don't. Prime recent example Putin in Ukrainian. Diplomacy isn't going to solve what happening now, it's past agreements and bargins. I'm not even saying it has to be us but let someone else go over there and take the leash off and go to town. Will it stop it forever, no but I'd much rather have our own boys running things besides sending weapons and supplies to a group that we don't even know is the right one or not.

I say turn them lose if they want to. Let them waste the men and equipment. Idk why the US as been against it anyway saying Russia just want to help Assad, when do we do anything that's not gonna benefit us in someway. They were talking the other night about making Syria a no fly zone and shooting down Russian planes, thats the worst idea they've come up with yet almost. We don't want that conflict.
