I am currently serving in the military and rely on military training land(public) to hunt. In late September, I was able to hang stands and cameras. I began capturing pics of some quality bucks but I have no does on camera. It almost sounds like an ideal situation but now that the rut has begun I have little to no activity and what activity I do have is two small bucks that are not legal(this Texas county has a 13 inch spread rule). I am concerned that because I didn't kill early I will not kill at all. I need to mention that in the lottery to draw out for whitetail I had to select an area and can't change now. Any suggestions???
