I have a black out blind with windows one can shoot through the mesh while closed. Has anyone tried this with a bow? Seems like it would really bork the shot. Thanks, W
It's alright with fixed blade broadheads but never use expandable heads even if someone says it's okay.
I just shot a doe a week ago with a fixed blade and my shot made it's mark but I would admit I was skeptical at first too
My son shot his first deer at age 9 with a 45 pound Browning bow with 75 grain Muzzy out of a ground blind. Shot through the mesh with no problem. Shot went flew true. I would only used fixed blade heads.
Fixed blade, and make sure you are shooting straight out through the mesh, not at an angle. Shouldn't have a problem.
Oh, I love mesh windows. You can draw whenever you want and really helps on sent control. Definitely fixed blade. A couple tips 1. DON"T LET THE SUN shine in the window, if it does, avoid the sunlight. They can see you! 2. Don't open two windows opposite of the other. If you are between two open screens, you are silhouetted. Freaks the deer out a bit.
