Matt B. and I have been planning a rut hunt together for awhile now. Matt will be flying up to Wisconsin Saturday night and will be hunting with me Sunday through Wednesday morning and flying home Wednesday night. I thought I would start a thread to document our hunt and have a little fun with it. For the record I warned Matt up front. All I can promise him is a warm place to sleep and plenty of cold beer. The rest is going to be gravy. I head up to the cabin Wednesday or Thursday a few days ahead of Matt. If I am lucky I won't have a buck tag by the time he lands but don't count on it.
Matt shipped his bow and most of his clothes to me last week so he didn't have to worry about checking anything. Anyone want to buy a Mathews? Cheap but you better act fast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nah. Nah. I am a productive member of society unlike Tony that hardly works with his 12 weeks of vacation a year.
Well I think that if this years contest isn't settled next season you two should go head to head on the same property, with live updates.

The cool thing about this trip is I hunt 99% alone, especially bow hunting. I rifle hunt with my uncle on the farm, and my boys go with me from time to time. Actually bowhunting with someone with the same philosophy is going to fun.
