Did the old 1990s Carroll PSE bows have a Berger hole?

    Hi,
Just noticed that my old 1990s PSE Carroll Dominator's rest holds the arrow much lower than an hole in the riser. Should this hole be considered the Berger hole and should I adjust the rest up to align the arrow with it? See pictures?

Yes. It is a Berger hole. At one time rests just stuck on the riser. Berger was one of the first to make a spring loaded plunger "Berger Button" to screw into the riser, keep the arrow off the riser and give some cushion to the arrow at launch. Hence the term "Berger Hole". In those days (60s?) everyone was a finger shooter and the arrow moved left/right at launch. Now with releases arrows move up/down and there is no need for a cushion plunger.

Yes? You should change the rest angle to raise the arrow. Unless it is shooting great then why change?
