We have recently come into an issue which seems to be repeating itself at our one property....we have now had 2 live cameras, 2 dummy cameras and a tree stand stolen off the property. I'm looking for anyone with a good looking (need to appear working order) but non-functioning cameras for dummy cams. I will paypal you the shipping cost...have a couple on the way, but would like another 2 at least.

Exodus would be a fitting brand for you. (Theft protection.) :tu:

All kidding aside, just hang a cell cam. At this point you would be losing time and money to go any other route.

The cell cams are salty, and I'm tapped out currently. My second job funds my hunting and just in case I down a buck that money will go towards the taxi bill (I taxi my small bucks I know hahaha!). I do want to get a cell cam though in the future, especially for this property.

What's the plan for the dummy cams? Will you use it to catch them with a live cam aimed at the dummy cam? I have a really old one but it still works. If it bites the dust I will let you know. Have you tried a lock box with a chain/cable? I feel for you bro, I can only imagine the frustration this would bring.

Yea the dummy cams will be watched with a live good one at minimum 14 feet or higher and as hidden as possible without sacrificing chance at a picture. The chains and lock box is also a thought we've had....if I go that route I think I'd rather just get cell ones....but who knows. Cameras are expensive enough, but add doing these things and it gets a little daunting...

Just make sure you have a good angle of the face. Test your set up. I'm sure once you get a pic you probably will know who it is too.

The worst part of all of this is we know, the owner knows, and the cops/detectives even know who is stealing the cameras bUT we have to have proof.
