Every year I want to try a new broadhead, normally an expandable, but I always revert back to my tried and true Slick Trick Magnum or G5 Striker. I decided to try the Swhacker this year after some broadhead testing, but once again I'm going back to the Slick Trick Magnums before I even arrow a deer with the Swhacker. Am I the only one who wastes money on things that don't need to be changed?

Oh...and if anyone wants (9) 125 grain Swhackers, pm me. They haven't been shot...5 of them have screwed on my arrows and put in the quiver while 4 are still in the packaging. $60 for the lot.

I'm in love with my ulmer edge. They have done a great job on every deer I've shot. But they're discontinued this year and I couldn't find any mechanical I liked as much as them. Going with slick truck magnums for the rest of the year.

I play around with a lot of things during the off season..........arrows, fletchings, sights, rests, etc. one thing I will not mess with is my BH's. I shoot Magnus heads and see no reason to try something different.

Have you ever had issues with the air noise from the Magnums? I shot them for a while and did not like the in flight noise.

Can't speak for the OP but I've shot ST Magnums now for I believe 3 or 4 years and haven't noticed anything.

Here is the link to Slick Tricks page. I shoot the magnums myself. Never had a deer go further than 40 yards.

I went from Muzzy 3 blade to Rage 2 blade to NAP Killzone. Starting shooting the Killzone last year and I'm very pleased with how it performs.

You are certainly not the only one. I have a grave digger up to bat currently with a 10 pack of slick trick mags on stand by. :tu:
