I had an idea today. Does anyone know and could confirm if the Army ACU ruck sack shoulder pads would fit and attach properly to a LW Alpha II hang on?

I've used Alice straps before on my Assault. It was nice, but I didn't like how much they stood out when it was hanging. Not because I was worried about deer seeing it, but other hunters. Now that I'm using the Assault strictly for run & gun hunts, I might look to do it again. Especially with all the added weight of the video gear.

I'm using neoprene gun slings. The slight stretch to them and quickly adjustable length while already on my back makes it carry very easily. Whole thing cost maybe $15? They were roughly $8 each at Walmart.

I'm not 100% sure related to ACU however, I went this route. Thought sharing these pics might help you out.

Same thing here but no waist belt on mine. $18-20 off amazon. If you pull the straps tight when in use the straps are nice and tight to the bottom of the stand. I can post more pics if people want to see. Let me know.

The back pack straps from lone wolf have terrible hardware. First trip in to the woods both of them cracked. I ended up tying the straps to the stand.
