Title says it all... What is the best wind/weather app you use? I've gotten used to the generic weather.com one but am looking to try something different.

I have been using the app called HuntStand Lite.. It has a lot of mapping features and also has a wind graph which has been pretty accurate for me. Its also free. Give it a try.

I use three consistently for different reasons.

HuntStand Lite. I use it for the terrain view and the moon-data/peak times.

Scoutlook, IMO, was better before the "upgrade" in which they got rid of key features. I still like the wind cone it offers everywhere I hunt and I don't have to have the location stored like in HuntStand.

The other app, isn't hunting related at all. But I use Accuweather for general weather data and then I compare it to the other apps. IMO, in general it's usually a bit more accurate on the weather information than the hunt specific apps.

I also use HuntStand. The ability to map my stands makes it easy to determine which one I'm hunting that afternoon...if I'm hunting at all. Check it out, it's free.

I use huntstand LTE. Has a wind cone and moon phases. Also a pretty good mapping feature. I also use a backpacking app called Alpine Quest. I actually bought the full version because the LTE version was so good.

I love huntstand, seeing the direction of the wind definitely helps when choosing a path to walk to my stand. Plus all the other features, great app overall

I've been using the scoutlook weather app and will continue to use it.

I agree with ya on Scoutlook. I feel it is not near as easy to use now.
Not a big fan of the "upgrade".

I like to use few different sources....local weather, weather channel, and weather underground...between those three I can draw my own conclusions on what conditions I'll have on my sit.

I also use one called eWeather HD strictly for its barometer trends and its Doppler radar. It's great for when you're in a stand and a random front is coming through...lets you know if it's high pressure/low pressure and if there'll be any precipitation involved. I really like it.
