I am having a hard time learning how to age deer. I wanted to get everyones opinion on it and why they think that. If it helps this is in North Oklahoma. Thank you everyone in advance.
I'm certainly not an expert but I noticed of far the deer stomach bows down id say good 3.5-4.5 year old
Thanks for the response. I was guessing him to be 3-4. We are trying to decide to add him to the hit list or wait one more year!!
The shoulders and belly scream 5+. Long main beam/mass combined with body structure tells me he's a hit lister!
Thank you for your responses. Now what are you looking at in the belly? Or does anyone have a good link on aging deer?
