Us fieldstaffers are doing it every chance we get! If every forum member told one friend the forum could double in size.

I've been trying to get the old guys I know to join, like my dad and uncle and countless other local legends. I know their knowledge would benefit the forums greatly. My dad has been on hundreds of blood trails. Imagine the stories and experience they have. My dad has taught me several things that would have taken me years to experience and learn for myself.

To an extent I feel this is a great idea but if it ever gets as big as ArcheryTalk, I know I won't enjoy it near as much. I can't keep up with AT, I don't like commenting on posts because I will likely never find or see the thread again being I don't go there as I often as I am here. Too many righteous people over at AT too.

I was a part of a car forum that had just broken off from its 'mother' and it stayed small for a while. Like swise660 said, it's a lot more like a family when it's not giant.

I just joined here and I don't know anyone but it still feels like a family and like someone else mentioned above, I love the Faith, Family, Bowhunting priorities I see here.

Keep it up ladies and gentlemen. I'm looking forward to interacting, learning, and hunting more!

I am the odd man out, I like this forum the way it is. Every once in awhile an influx of members join that try to act like this is archerytalk (disrespectful bs) and that is not a good thing in my opinion.

I talk about it to my husband all the time. He just doesn't understand. So that's one I can say wont join.

But, an over abundance of newbies can be a bad thing...just saying. Ssssswack.

coming from a new member one of the reasons I joined this site as opposed to AT is the general level of respect for rookie questions and looking for advice seems much higher here then at AT. I would love to support to add to the community.

Im glad this forum isnt huge.. like others have stated it makes it more like fam and if it ever gets like AT I for one will look for another small, friendly, fam type forum. Dont get me wrong.. I welcome all the new members, I would just hate to see everyone trying to get anyone and everyone they meet to join just for the sake of saying we have xxx number of members.
