Finally got my first bow kill

    I was in the process of posting in the "live in the stand 2015" thread when a doe walked out. I was able to take the shot. She dropped about 30 yards out... I know the photo is blurry, but hey, I was excited. Heck, I'm excited still.. lol

    That was blood on a leaf that her foot was beside. The blurry photo makes it look like her foot was shot off.. lol . I got there, made sure she was dead and placed my bow down for the photo. I was too excited to try and reposition anything. Plus I was shaking and the picture came out blurry.. lol I have killed many deer with a rifle, but there is just something special about bow hunting...

    I bet, I am still pumped from yesterday... Our rut should be kicking off here pretty soon, so I hope the boys I got on my trail cam will start getting a little careless.. Tell ya what though, those Ramcats don't play...
