Been doing this for years on an even more common man size of 12 acres. Tougher the smaller you go but man I'd kill for even 40. This is where the brunt of hunters fall, that sub-100 acre mark and a tremendous amount in the sub-50 acres.
Yep, I am also doing this, but on 9 acres. My goal is to one day live and hunt on 50 acres so I'm getting good practice on my hunting grounds on a smaller scale today.
Haha I bet not many people know the struggle of a four acre piece of ground with the sandiest soil you'll ever see and not a single tree big enough to put a stand in. bordered on 2 sides by roads. Also i have a 2/3 acre property adjacent to residential (yes, i talked to the residents)that has actually been producing a lot of doe sightings.
