I crossed off a few of the hard to get to states in the last year, Alaska and Hawaii. Leaves just 1 last state to get to and I will have been in all 50. Kinda funny all the years working fire and going to western states every summer and I never got to go to Montana. I hope to get there next year before I turn 50 so I can say I did all 50 before I turned 50. I still say Minnesota is my favorite state can't think of another I would rather live in. Anyone been to all 50?
Missing a few in the far north east and south west. Also Hawaii and Alaska. Hopefully I'll get to visit Alaska in a few years. Got some animals I would love to pursue! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm at like 44. I'm missing Alaska, Hawaii, and the far NE. We would take summer long road trips every summer growing up for vacation, so I can say that I've actually been to, or at least driven through a large portion of all those states as well, not just seen an airport terminal in that state. My parents are in Maine right now and they went to Alaska last summer, so after this trip all they will need is Hawaii. That might be kinda hard though since my Dad hates flying.
I drove an 18-wheeler for two years which put me in every one of the states in the continental U.S. except Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Went through Rhode Island once, which was a bit scary. Took a wrong turn and wound up in Rhode Island without a permit to be in Rhode Island. Been to four foreign countries, Canada, Korea, Japan, and Texas. Sometimes I think I might like to go back to Korea and Japan.
Would be easier to name the ones haven't so, Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Montana, and S and N Dakota. Also have been to about 10 or 11 different countries.
I've been to 37, the toughest one for me to go to will be North Dakota...I just can't seem to find a reason to go. Oh and countries, 23...20 years in the Navy to thank for that number.
14 for me. Never been west of San Antonio and never been east (other than Florida) of Detroit...I have some travelling to do!
33 states for me. Everything west of Kentucky and the southeast. 7 foreign countries. I hear a lot of mixed reviews about the east coast as far as way too many people and horrible traffic. I guess that is why I have never had any interest in traveling there. But, good beer and seafood in the northeast may be just the draw to get me to give it a try someday.
Colorado, Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas... Those are the states I've been to Touched the border of Iowa and Oklahoma are the only other states I've even been close to. Planning a farm trip to North Dakota next year to Gabe Brown's farm and will drive so I'll add a handful to the list of states I've been to. I don't like to travel...like...at all. Too much here at home to do and I hate being in new places I'm not familiar with. I hate dealing with playing catch up when I get back home from being away.
