Has anyone successfully self-filmed from a Milennium M100? I'm looking for tips. I have both a muddy pro and boss hawg camera arm, and this will be my first year self filming. I did a mock set up, and because the Milennium has such a high back compared to most lock ons with a conventional seat, I'm feeling forced to put my camera arm well above normal seat level in order to properly strap it to the tree. Any set up suggestions or past experience would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jim
As comfy as this stand is I make it the hunter stand. When setting up to film with it I feel like it limits your area of motion due to the back. If you have a area where u know there deer will be you could get away with it but for most my spots they can be in any direction.
I self film from mine all the time. It took some getting used to. I set my camera arm a little above waist level when I'm standing. Then I sit and wait. When I stand up its ready to record. "Live Life at Full Draw"
I think this sounds about right. Sometimes I struggle with where to hang the arm. keep it low for filming while seated, or high so that when I'm standing and ready to shoot, I can control the camera easier. I've done it both way with both positive and negative results.
I have an M100U I'll be self filming from some. Anxious to see how it goes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
