As of today, do you think Trump will be the GOP nominee or will he be running as an independent in the general election or do you think he will go away? 3 weeks ago I didn't think there was a chance. Now I'm starting to change my tune on his chances.
Not going to happen. And if he goes independent the Republican Party has zero chance with the vote split. Makes ya kinda want to give Hillary a big aunt Bee hug. Sorry I had too.
His Ego won't allow him to go away. If he doesn't get the GOP nod I think he absolutely will run as an Independent. If that happens whoever gets the nod on the Blue Ticket will be our next president.
The Self Promoting Billionaire who's entire campaign has been based on slamming opponents from both parties? Nope, no ego ...
I like the guy in regards to his forwardness to speak his mind..but to countries like Russia, Cuba, N. Korea, it might not be such a good idea haha.
It's so baffling to me how he has the popularity that he does. I would have thought the novelty as the anti-politician would have worn off by now. My belief is once his poll numbers start to slip he will quit all on his own. His ego is way too big to have to face getting beat. He will not run as an independent unless he's sure he can win. Got my haircut this morning, the good old boys at the barber shop like Trump for what he says. I figure it shows how screwed up this country is, Donald Trump is a savior?
Every one of the SOB's running has one problem or another...people are so hyper critical these days it's just ridiculous. The only candidate I really liked was Cruz and he's not without his own problems. Fiorina doesn't have an ego? Hell her ego is as big as Trumps.
I'm hoping Dr. Bill beats them all out he is about the only one that seemed to not be all about himself and what he did so far with his life lol...Nothing against trump but I don't see him doing the job we really need from a president.
Don't think Trump will be the nominee. He is tapping into the anti-establishment emotion right now. I do like how he speaks his mind and is not very PC with his talk but I don't think that I would vote for him as the republican nominee for a variety of reasons. I think his popularity will wane.
I've never believed that Trump really wants to be president so I don't think he will be on the ticket. But if I am wrong, I am not sure he would make a bad president. Most of his antics are for publicity, I have no doubt that when behind closed doors doing business he doesn't act the same as he does when facing the public. And a person doesn't get to where he is without knowing how to tap the right people who have the knowledge and expertise.
No... I don't think he will be the GOP nominee (anyway I'm hoping not). I'm really holding out for a General Collin Powell and Condoleezza Rice ticket... (but they seem too smart to run).
DT needs to get a much more thorough understanding of international issues before I'll vote for him in the primary...but he is a smart guy and there is time. The "everyone running this country is dumb and sucks but I am smart and would be awesome" schtick is wearing thin and he needs to start backing up his bravado with some substance. I read the two position papers he has released so far (immigration and 2A) and I like his take on both issues and am sure most on this site would as well. I'm sure he didn't draft them personally, but a smart CEO surrounds himself with good advisors and considers their expertise in his decision making. One thing I like about him- he's fearless and does not back down because he realizes that the more the Politicrats and media elites slam him the more they reveal their fear of true populism. I'm not so sure a 3rd party run would be as disastrous as it has been in the past. He could very well win as a 3rd party candidate; depending on the Repub/Dem nominees. Hilary's going to have a tough time running in handcuffs...In a non-Hillary Dem/Jeb/Trump face off, I can see Trump winning. Non-policital people have no idea how much the anti-illegal alien wing of the conservative base hates Jeb! And I don't see Sanders getting more than 25% of the popular vote...so that gives a 3rd party candidate a good shot. The wild card is a Biden/Warren ticket. But he won't probably won't jump in until/unless he has inside info that HRC is being indicted.
