Its 7:43 right now. I leave here at 9:00 to get to the archery shop when they open(10:00). I Cant wait. Very Excited! Its a Birthday present from my dad and it is ready for pick up on my birthday! they originally said on the 23rd. This is my first top end bow! They said they cant make it a 80lb for me but thats ok. Im going to see if the bowtech legend limbs will fit in the pockets, and if so in a few months i will upgrade the limbs.
    BOWTECH BOSS!

The boss is a nice bow. Shot one a few weeks ago. While I still am weary of bowtechs reputation for bad limbs, I really enjoyed the boss enough to actually consider buying one next season

I think the bad limbs thing is kinda old. from what i know that was years and years ago. I think they have the bugs worked out now. We will find out within a few months with as much as i shoot.

I shoot my Prodigy rather religiously, and have had zero problems over the past 2 to 3 months.

Yes and no, I know the insanity bows had a ton of limb failures. Last year a friend bought a brand new carbon knight and on the 8th arrow the top limp split in two. But, I have seen failutes in Mathews, hoyt, pse etc within the last few years as well. Bowtech used to be plagued with limb issues but I think your right, I think they are only experiencing about the same amount as any company these days

well i got in over 100 shots today. no limb failures. the only down side to this damn bow is every arrow needs its own target or i break arrows

I chose the boss because I wanted a bow that suits my hunting style, most of the bows on the market seem to be geared more twords tree stand and blind hunting. I wanted a bow that had a larger ATA, and a bigger brace hight so it would be a better suited bow for long range shots in open mountain terrain. there are only a couple bows that i was really interested in and the boss took the cake with how quite of a shot, and absolutely zero jump or vibration. along with having 2" more ata than the other bows i was looking at. its a beautiful bow. and I like the idea of the power disk. if i ever decide i want a smoother drawing bow, i can adjust it with two screws. and after shooting it all day yesterday. I can tell you this as well. with this bow. it is very easy to hold your pin on a target without any floating. even with the 7" past the riser beam sight that i shoot with. I am extremely happy with this bow. a also like that it shoot about the same speed as my hoyt. at 60 yards the boss was hitting 5" high. so it was a easy transfer.

PS. a had actually found a video that a guy did a side by side test of a couple of the bows i was looking at, and the boss was the only bow to hit or go over the advertised ibo speed. even without being at the max draw length. although he didnt like the agressive draw on the #1 setting. it is 100X smoother than my hoyt. i even had to have the guy check to make sure it actually was a 70# draw bow.

also just in case anyone thinks $1200 is to much for a bow. it also came with a hat and sticker to sweeten the deal!
