    300 yards or so on my small plot of private ground. It varies on public but usually 1/4 mile minimum.

    my 2 furthest stand sites (I use a climber) are 707 and 684 yards from where I park.
    just measured it on Huntlite maps

    5 miles.. up hill both ways in 6' of snow!






    The tree I use the most is around 670 yrds each way. Most others are + or - 100 yrds and a few around a half mile.

    I hunt a lot of public land. My main area is 1.5 - 2 miles to the stand (one way). I did relocate to another area about 1/2 mile back for the early season. I will migrate to the "back" just before rut.

    I mainly walk it in the dark in the am. Change clothes at my stand.

    I have many different stands. They varie form 200 yards to 1/2 mike walk.

    The closest is maybe 200 yards at my friends farm in Ohio from his barn to the stand. Most of my public land spots are a 30-45 minute walk. I never measured how far.

    Depends on which stand I'm going to...the closest is 1/4 mile. I have hiked over a mile before though.

    I walk all the way to my stand.



    Closest is about 30 yards. Farthest is .78 miles (gps tracking). I have 11 stand in between 30 yards and .78 miles.
