Anyone using the extinguisher deer call and what do you think of it. I am considering purchasing one, not because I think the grunt call is any better but because I like the idea of having all the different tones in one call.

I use one...I think the buck tone is terrible. The doe an fawn tones make up for it.

I bought one about a month ago and I like it. I bought it for the same reasons. Easy to adjust from one call to another. I compared the doe call to the Primos Bleat can I have and it is really close. Only thing I would change is that it needs a Snort Wheeze chamber. I will carry my Primos Buck Roar for that. Other than that it seems to be a really good deer call. Just to add... I bought the Black Rack from DSP and I didn't like it. I found some 150" antlers that I like much better.

I've hunted with it for a couple seasons now and i really like it. Very effective call and it is so versital. I really like the grunt and the bleats are awesome. Last year i pulled a 2.5 year old buck ,(that was scent trailing a doe that came by about 5 minutes earlier) right to me. He ran in and he didn't want to leave. I tried to sound like a young buck chasing a doe and he couldn't take it.

I've used one for the past 3-4 seasons...it works well and sounds good. I think if you are in the market its one of the best. I also have an HS true talker which I like as well. The extinguisher slide is easier to use than the finger on the reed on the true talker.

I feel like I scare deer away when I use a call, but then again, I've never had anyone to show me how or when to use them

I got the call for this season, excited to test it out. I hunt in very cold conditions and this call won't freeze up since you have the ability to move the slide which will break up any ice build up on the reed. That's the theory so we will see how she preforms
