Just read that the judge overturned Brady's suspension. ROFL Now the prix that pushed this mess needs to face some consequences.
Good for Brady. Regardless if he actually did it or not, they need actual proof. You can't suspend someone because "he probably knew about the deflated footballs or probably asked the equipment crew to deflate them to his liking". It doesn't matter if we think he knew, you have to be able to prove it, and Goodell acts like judge and jury.
Personally, I think the rule is stupid. The idea behind the rule is a level playing field and as long as each team is free to do what it wants to its balls the field is level for all. That being, we all know they did it and it was against the rules and should be punished. If you look back to the Williams Wall suspensions that went on for over a year and could have gone longer if they hadn't dropped the case. And unlike a court of law, the NFL doesn't need to prove anything. If they did, they wouldn't be able to suspend players for outside incidents that get dropped in court, but they still do.
So...you're saying it's fine to persecute someone without evidence because of a reputation...seems fair.
Covey there is proof the balls were tampered with and the Pats admitted it when they fired the two ball boys involved in the scheme.
You're confusing the issues. If the balls were under-inflated then the ball handlers failed to do their job. Brady specifically told them to be sure they were inflated correctly and to be sure that the officials knew the rules. There is no evidence that Brady ever instigated, condoned or lobbied for the ball handlers to under inflate the balls.
So should we change the terminology from small claims court to small claims judge? Biased logic is failed logic...stop before you embarrass yourself further.
And I have a bridge to sell you also. Everything done to the footballs is done with the QBs knowledge, to think otherwise is foolish. Don't be surprised when the league appeals and this decision is overturned as well.
By the time that happens Brady will be retired and laughing his *** off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Was it not reported or did you just fail to read it because you made a hasty decision of Brady's guilt? It was in the report. These are the details the judge considered when he trashed the NFL side for pushing the issue and giving the suspension without any evidence.
