Alright guys... i am needing some help with figuring out what to get my kids.. 2 of my kids have birthdays this month. My daughter will be turning 10 and by boy is turning 7. What would be a good bow that i can get each kid that they will actually be able to shoot. I am hoping to get something that will last them for at least a few years until they can start hunting.
Mission, bowtech, diamond and pse have some good bows. I would recommend checking out mission first then pse second.
I bought my boy a Diamond infinite edge bow. I really like it. The rest and sight that came on it aren't the greatest but it goes from 5lbs to 70lbs and the draw length goes from 13 to 30. He was 6 when I bought it for him and has been shooting it for the last few years.
I have the mission craze and I'm 27. I bought it knowing I could end up teaching my boys with it. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
My boys are 9 and 11 now. They have a diamond infinite edge and a bear apprentice 2. Both are good bows.
My boy is 10 will be 11 this month. I got him the diamond infinite last winter and he's been shooting it almost everyday since he got it. The sight and rest aren't anything special but the bow itself is great. For the price you can't beat it in my opinion and it shoots awesome. This will be his first year hunting and I am confident If a deer presents an opportunity both the bow and my son will perform great. Plus the bow will grow with him until he is more knowledgeable about the sport and bows.
