Need Help Aging

Have this buck don't recognize him from the previous year, have 100's of pictures of him. I'm not able to age deer on the hoof was wondering if someone could help me out. Can't figure out if he was possibly a yearling last year or a buck that moved into the area this summer?

 

I think he's probably 3, he looks too big to me to be 2 but it's possible.

 

thanks, thats kind of how I feel but I'm just guessing, he just visits so frequently its no doubt his home I would of thought I would of recognized him from previous years.
