Need some major HELP please

I put my stands up a couple weeks ago and left the seat cushion on one accidentally. Went out today and had a wasp nest on it the size of a dinner plate on it. What the hell do I do now? If I spray it, the stand will stink but I can't get close enough to get the cushion off. Any ideas or do I just spray the beast and take the cushion and trash it?

 

Spray it now get it over with, the scent will not deter the deer that much or for long.

 

Burn the whole tree down and cut your losses .

 

Cut a small tree down or a branch that's the height of the stand and use it to push it off the bottom of the stand. You'll probably only get one whack at it before you have to wait for them to calm down, so make the first one count.

 

I agree with sota. You would have to be brave and quick if you were to wacky it down with a stick.

 

I smoke my hunting clothes so I have a bee hive smoker since thats how I do it. If I were you I would try to smoke them all out then remove the nest before I resorted to spraying it....but if you don't want to go about it that way I agree with Sota and say get it done now before it gets any closer to season. This isn't a normal wasp nest it's flat almost like a bee honey comb.

 

Even easier to spray, get after it.

 

Get dressed up head to toe so your all covered and protected and get a really log pole and knock that sucker down and run like a mother #$%#$

 

Just knock it down with a long stick or pole. Be sure to be covered in a couple layers of loose fitting clothing and you should be fine.

 

Go to a parts store and buy a can of starting either, grab yer nuts, climb up there and spray the hell out of it. As long as you get them all pretty much covered, it'll knock them dead nearly instantly and the either will dissipate in nothing flat.

If it's honey bees, you could smoke them and just pick it up and carry them down, I wouldn't recommend trying to smoke wasps.

 

I'm with burning the tree down. Or explosives!!

 

Nature has given you an archery target, don't be ungrateful.

Lol in all seriousness your archery season starts in two weeks, that is probably enough time to spray it, so the sooner the better. Or just take a stick to it like others have said.

Go out at night and knock it down with a long stick.. easy as that. I have knocked plenty down at night around the house and Im allergic to them. They are not very aggressive at night

Nights the best especially if its cooler. They're lethargic and won't fly.

Or a flamethrower. Yep Definitely a Flame thrower. Use the Either and a lighter. No stank, No Wasps, No Eyebrows, Done.

 

At night for sure! Knock it down, and either burn it or spray it.

 

A couple of flaming arrows should do the trick... But seriously let us know how it goes!

 

Spray at night or early morning. That's when bees are less active. If you have smoke you can move the bees into a box and relocate also. See it on duck dynasty once lol
