From my experience QAD Exodus. Second would be Slick Trick.

Any particular reason you want to use fixed blades ?

I am a big fan of QAD Exodus. I shoot them regularly out to 50-55 yards and they fly great. I have used a lot of heads in my bowhunting "career" and these may be my favorites when it comes to replaceable blade broadheads.

You like long range shooting, give this video a watch. Not much of a "test" but fun to watch lol.

I really like Trophy Taker Shuttle T heads. They fly great and the non-vented blades are quieter in flight. I hit a doe last season a little too far forward. It broke her leg bone going in and still came out the other side, 400 grain arrow. A buddy and I have shot 6 deer with them so far without any problems.

I did shoot Montecs for a couple seasons. They flew nice but they seemed a little noise in flight with the vented blades.

I hit the same holes with my slick tricks at 30 yards

Because they are tried and true and do a fantastic job of killing deer? Fixed blades are just as good a killing animals as expandables and in some cases even do a better job (punching through bone)

That said, I usually shoot NAP Killzones but just bought a pack of Dirt Nap fixed broadheads to try this year. Just dont like how the dirtnaps hiss in flight

I have had great success with Solid Broadheads and they are a mean head and great quality! I have never shot Slick Tricks, but know people who swear by them and with the online reviews supporting them they seem to fly very true. As long as your bow is tuned properly you can get any fixed head to fly true, good luck!

My vote is for slick tricks or QAD exodus...I'm running slick tricks this year and they fly great.
I am interested in trying out some Magnus black hornets though...they look killer and I like the lifetime warranty on them.

I noticed the hissing in flight, but I doubt it will be a concern while hunting. They hit with my field points right out of the pack.

My favorite is slick trick, two of my buddy's shoot thunderheads and refuse to shoot anything else, they kill every year for him, IMO thunderheads tune like poop, but to each there own. I also like hell raisers by Nap.

I am shooting a 2 blade Helix, It is the most accurate head I have ever shot. One of my friends shoots his out to 60 yds. and they hit with his field points.

I have shot sonics without paper tuning and hit the same spot as my field points. Maybe I was lucky but I couldn't get muzzys to hit the same spot like I could with the sonics. Here check them out http://www.americanbroadhead.com/ . I would use them again if I went back to fixed blades and I might next year.

Montec's flew well for me but were not sharp at all. I sharpened them using several different methods and just could not get them to where I wanted them. I shoot Slick Tricks. They fly just as well and are razor sharp out of the box.
