A letter that one of the resort guests left me. She traveled all the way from England to spend a week taking a course at the North American Bear Center. At check-in, the second sentence out of her mouth was how she's a vegan.

    ... I was quite polite.

I'm hoping for some successful extinguishing this Fall :tu:

Your heart must be pretty big based on the number of deer killed lately.

I think Susan has embraced one too many figgy puddings.

I suppose her next trip will be to Alaska where she can spend time talking to the bears.

I've found the only real way to be able to embrace them is to put them down so they can't struggle. The few I've tried to convince to let me hug them while on the hoof kicked the chit out of me. I can honestly say I have never sought to "extinguish" the deer population, hell I feed them a good 10K worth of food per year to make them grow. I fully expect she would be proud of my efforts.

Yes the teaching at the North American Bear Center is geared towards realistic research, not fundraising or coddling the tree hugging dirt worshipers at all.:sheep:

I'm looking forward to you embracing one after extinguishing it this year, and then taking care of that treasure. She seems pretty spot on

Susan, would a lady other than one with the name Susan write a letter like that? It's perfect. It was a nice letter. Sure beats the hate email I received last month saying our whole team would feel the wrath of God for the ruthless killing we do!

I had to laugh, because I'm sure damn near every store and restaurant in Ely has at least one taxidermy mount in it. I'm sure she enjoyed them all :tu:

Jeeze, I guess I'm really out of the mainstream then cause I was considering writing one like that with the terms being if Justin DOESN'T unleash some ruthless killing.
